Personality goes here. Personal Biography. Ginny's life didn't start out like most others normally did. She was born, yes, but that's pretty much the only thing that made her entrance normal. Her mere existence was a miracle, born to a long-time barren demoness who'd been tested on and prodded as an experiment for a notorious magical family that hailed from somewhere in the middle of the States. Her father, one of the members of this family, had been lured into a seductive trap. That's all there was to it. When Ginny was born, she was taken from the demon, considering she was half-human and the demon had wanted to steal her away. Not a month after her birth, that demon escaped and became untrackable. In an effort to protect his new child, her father took off, abandoning the family he already had to save the poor little girl who'd been born of his own moments of weakness. He spent the next decade searching for the Charmed Ones, but never found them. He knew his time was running out, so before Ginny could come into any of her powers, he put a special binding on them, one that would remain even after his death, should that ever happen. That way, she'd still be untraceable to her mother. Before she knew it, a decade had passed. Ginny wasn't without the knowledge that she was innately magical, not in the least. Her father had always made sure she was aware of the things around her and the threats they posed. He never hid the fact that she wasn't all human for the sole reason that if she didn't already know, for one, she wouldn't know what to expect if there was an attack, and two, it wasn't right to deny her the knowledge of what she was- that she was special and virtually one of a kind. Finally, her father managed to find a way to the Charmed Ones: through the Magic School. He took Ginny there and left her, returning home to check on his family before going back, but he never got the chance. The demon had caught up with him, and Ginny got the news shortly after. With no idea that she had any other family (and without any powers), they had no way of finding her, no one ever thinking to look to the Magic School. So she remained there, enrolled by the headmaster, Leo Wyatt. The school became her home, learning magic with the best. Once Ginny turned 16, that special binding her father had placed upon her managed to run out, the magic having gone as far into the years as it could without her father's presence. With it came her first power, mimicry. When it began, it was very sporadic and happened all the time, copying powers from virtually everyone around her, powers she couldn't control. She became very ill, confined to the walls of her dorm room. It wasn't long before the headmaster of the school realized just why that was happening to her; he'd been the one who her father had come to just before he died. Leo reasoned it was the dual nature of Ginny's being that caused such disturbance for her power and the abilities she absorbed. With the strength and unpredictability of her ability, Leo suggested she stay at his home, the infamous Halliwell Manor, where the Charmed Ones could personally oversee her power training. It actually worked out quite nicely, especially when she was assigned a whitelighter, Chris Halliwell. The two became fast friends, considering the time she was now spending with the whole clan. It wasn't a straight path on the road to control for Ginny. Just when she'd begun to finally get a handle on her mimicry, she started shimmering, causing a little worry Charmed Ones. Alas, it truly wasn't anything to be worried about; it was merely the demon in her blood manifesting, which normally wouldn't be a good thing, but it helped greatly in balancing the mixture of good and evil within her. She started living a little more on the wild side, finding the dull, everyday life to be monotonous and boring. She could go anywhere, do anything. The only real parental guidance she had were the sisters, who she was obedient to when it counted. Aside from that, she did things her own way and in her own time. Things took a big change the night she and Henry (or Jr as his folks would call him) decided to have a few drinks together. Up until then, they shared an antagonistic, yet enjoyable friendship. Sure, the banter between them didn't change, but something else certainly did, that's for sure. Something, which, his mother wasn't all that cheerful about. It seemed to Ginny that while she was good enough to be called a friend and considered family, she wasn't good enough to be consorting with one of them in a manner that was more than friendship. It was something that was always in the back of her mind, always feeling eyes on her back, judging her, when she was with Henry. Then one day, a particularly ordinary and boring day, the Book of Shadows jumped from her. She told no one but Henry, worried that if the book protected itself from her, then what would that mean to the others? She wasn't evil. She wasn't! It began to happen more and more often, mostly when she was angry or simply in a bad mood. It was Wyatt who'd first seen it happen, who immediately alerted his mother. That resulted in a very stern lecture and new restrictions to the book, something Ginny took very offensively. Piper's lack of faith was disturbing, to say the least. While it wasn't meant to cause any insinuation to her goodness but merely as a precaution, Ginny was still hurt by it. It wasn't long until things between she and Henry fell apart. Her own insecurities chipped away at her, and she didn't want to drag him down with her. What business did an angel have with a demon? Nothing good, and that's how she saw it. She abruptly cut things off, never giving him a real reason as to why. That's when Jack Hanson emerged in her life, feeding on her doubts and insecurities. Over time it continued to chip away at her, leading her down a path that she didn't realize she was on until it was too late to turn back. Phoebe had received a premonition of a yellow haired demon stealing the Book of Shadows while at the same time, Ginny received one more new power of her own, her conjuration. The demonic power boost was a result of her dancing too close to the line between her humanity and demonic side, and the Elders viewed it as a serious threat. They ordered the Charmed Ones to strip her of her powers in order to prevent her from turning, but Phoebe, Piper, and Paige did not agree. They may not have liked the progress Ginny was making in the wrong direction, but they still cared for her and refused to leave her defenseless. Through a series of unfortunate events, Phoebe's premonition came to fruition, Ginny ending up being the demon in her vision. With nowhere to turn, she fled, no word to anyone. The book was quickly recovered, but it was a very long time before the Halliwells saw her again. She was recruited by the Source due to her knowledge and relationship with the family, a valuable asset he wasn't willing to let go of. As time passed, Ginny found herself finding ways around causing trouble to the family. While their goodness bothered her, her humanity refused to allow them harm from her direction. Adriana Turner caused problems for her, but lucky for Ginny, Adriana ended up suffering the same tragic problem her Uncle Cole had. Love was her demise. The Source gave the order to end it, so Ginny was sent to do the job. She did, and things changed for her, moving up to the spot of the Source's right hand, what Adriana used to be. --------------------- Ginny is headstrong, determined, and volital in battle.
